Anabaptist History & Theology3.0 credit hours
 
This course examines the origins and development of the Anabaptist movement in the context of the major events, ideas and personalities of the Protestant Reformation, and the late medieval/early modern context within which it took place. It also examines the theological emphases which characterized the movement, and the extent to which those emphases and themes continue to be relevant in the twenty-first century. Attention is also given to modern discussions of the “Anabaptist Vision” and to various attempts to identify the essence of Anabaptism.
