Reporting Crime and Emergencies

Rosedale Bible College does not maintain its own police department and relies on the Madison County Sheriff’s Department and Ohio State Highway Patrol for law enforcement. An crimes occurring on campus should be immediately reported to local authorities by calling 911 (for emergencies) or the Madison County Sheriff at 740-852-1212 (Non-Emergency). After calling 911, emergencies should be immediately reported to the Resident Directors, Dean of Students, or other college staff person. In cases of fire, severe weather, criminal activity, or other emergency situations that pose a threat to campus safety, students and staff will be notified via social media and SMS text messages. Students should update their cell phone number with the Dean of Students to ensure timely notification.

Campus Crime Log

In accordance with the October 1998 revisions of the Campus Security Act, Rosedale Bible College maintains a log, recording all crimes that are reported to the police or campus security officials, including the nature, date, time, and general location of each crime, and the disposition of the complaint, if known. This log can be obtained upon request at the dean of students’ office.
