Celebrating God’s Provision
May 3rd marked a profound milestone in the college’s fundraising effort. That night, we celebrated the evening with performances from Salt & Light and the Chorale. Between performances, we served a chicken BBQ and held a mini-auction. It was a celebratory atmosphere and a spirit of joy pervaded the night.
We prayed that God would provide the remainder of the funding needed to build the new dorm debt-free by that evening. We needed $50K in cash or pledges to make that happen. When the evening ended, we were thrilled to learn that we crossed the finish line with a few dollars to spare. However, the night wasn’t finished. As it turned out, the money kept coming in and we were astonished to learn that God provided a total of $75K!
This additional money will be used to cover extra expenses that inevitably pop up, such as landscaping.
Our Father continues to meet all of our needs according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus (Phil. 4:19). May you be encouraged to trust in His faithful provision for your life.
