Flagship Scholarships

The Multiply Scholarship

Who’s Eligible?
Multiply scholarships are scholarships awarded to qualifying first-year, full-year, full-time, dorming students.

Applications for the scholarship require confirmation from the pastor that the student attends a congregation affiliated with RNOC, LMC, Evana or Good News Fellowship. More than one student may qualify from  one congregation.

How Do You Apply?
Ask your pastor to get in touch with us and confirm that you attend the RNOC church where they serve. That’s all!

How Much is it?
For the 2023-24 year, the maximum amount is $7,150. This is roughly half the cost of attendance. It’s prorated per semester or term.

Details:
The Multiply Scholarship follows normal procedure regarding academic probation. Failure to progress can result in the loss of a Multiply Scholarship.

Married students are eligible for the Multiply Scholarship, although the amount will be adjusted based on their living situation.

The Multiply Scholarship can’t be combined with any unfunded in-house ministry scholarships, but it can be combined with the Congregational Giving Scholarship for RNOC churches that support RBC financially.

The Mature Scholarship

Who’s Eligible?
Mature are awarded to qualifying full-year, full-time, dorming students who’ve successfully completed at least 18 credit hours at RBC.

How Do You Apply?
Just sign up to return to RBC for a second year, and the discount will automatically be applied to your bill.

How Much is it?
The automatic discount is $3,000, prorated by term or semester. Mature Scholarship recipients who choose to join the cross-cultural study term are eligible to use the Cross-Cultural Grant, which is $2,000. Total incentives can add up to $5,000.

The Mature Scholarship can be combined with unfunded in-house ministry scholarships, but the ministry scholarships are reduced to one-third of the standard amount. In other words, a ministry scholarship normally worth a discount of $1,000 becomes worth a discount of $333. The Mature Scholarship can also be combined with the Congregational Giving Scholarship for RNOC churches that support RBC financially.

The Outreach Scholarship

Who’s Eligible?
Outreach scholarships are scholarships awarded to qualifying first-year, full-year, full-time, residential students who are not eligible for the Multiply Scholarship.

How Do You Apply?
You don’t need to! If you’re not eligible for the Multiply Scholarship, we’ll automatically apply the Outreach Scholarship to your bill.

How Much is it?

For the 2023-24 year, the Outreach Scholarship is a discount of $6,000.

Details:
