Purpose
The purpose of the Institute of Pastoral Studies is to offer a balanced program of study for church leaders who are not able to complete a regular program of study on campus.

Program Overview
Persons interested in training for congregational leadership will be able to take up to 4.5 credit hours per year in the IPS program. In three years, it is possible to earn 15 credit hours (4.5 per year plus 1.5 hours of supervised ministry) thus fulfilling requirements for a “Certificate in Pastoral Studies.” Students can begin the program with any of the three modules of courses.
